FIVE GLORIOUS YEARS OF TEAM RACTHAM: A JOURNEY OF HOPE AND HEALING

Celebrating a Milestone in Hematology Care

Healthcare is not just about providing treatment; it is about ensuring access, awareness, and hope. As we mark five years of Team RACTHAM, we reflect on our journey—one that has transformed hematology care in Central Travancore.

With 50 successful bone marrow transplants (BMTs) and a dedicated hematology service, we have touched lives, given hope to families, and made cutting-edge treatments available right at people’s doorsteps. But even as we celebrate, we recognize a challenge—awareness.

Bridging the Awareness Gap: The Challenge We Face

Despite our significant achievements, we discovered that many people in our own community—just 25 km away—were unaware of the hematology services available at Believers Church Medical College Hospital (BCMCH).

  • Families continue to travel long distances, seeking care they could receive right here.

  • Many face logistical burdens, financial stress, and physical exhaustion that could have been avoided.

  • Some remain unaware that world-class hematology care, including bone marrow transplants and advanced CAR-T therapies, is accessible locally.

This realization has strengthened our resolve—to spread the word, educate communities, and ensure that no one suffers simply due to a lack of awareness.

Our Commitment: Expanding Access, Building Awareness

At RACTHAM, our mission is twofold:

1️⃣ Expanding Access to Hematology Services

  • Ensuring affordable, high-quality care for patients suffering from blood disorders, cancers, and immune conditions.

  • Strengthening bone marrow transplant programs, including advanced CAR-T cell therapy.

  • Partnering with global hematology experts to bring cutting-edge research and innovation to Central Travancore.

2️⃣ Raising Awareness Among Communities

  • Engaging in medical outreach programs to educate people about hematology care.

  • Collaborating with local healthcare providers to streamline patient referrals.

  • Utilizing digital and social media platforms to inform the public about our services.

A Heartfelt Thank You

This milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our dedicated team, the medical community, our patients, and their families.

  • To our doctors, nurses, and support staff—thank you for your tireless dedication.

  • To our patients and their loved ones—your courage and trust inspire us every day.

  • To our supporters and well-wishers—your encouragement fuels our mission.

The journey continues, and so does our commitment—to reduce unnecessary travel, provide expert care locally, and ensure that no patient feels the need to search elsewhere when the best is right here at home.

Let’s move forward together—with fewer road trips and more local awareness!

💙 Here’s to many more years of transforming lives!
