A Heartfelt Note of Gratitude: Farewell to Our First Batch of MSW Interns at BCMCH

Today marks a significant moment at Believers Church Medical College Hospital (BCMCH) as we bid farewell to our first batch of Master of Social Work (MSW) interns. Over the past month, these dedicated young professionals have immersed themselves in the dynamic world of medical social work, gaining firsthand experience in patient care, hospital administration, and community engagement.

Their time with us has been transformative, both for them and for the departments they worked with. As they complete their one-month medical posting, we take this opportunity to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who played a role in shaping their journey.

A Month of Learning and Growth

During their posting, the MSW interns were exposed to multiple specialties and hospital functions, giving them a well-rounded understanding of how healthcare and social work intersect. They worked closely with various departments, learning how to support patients, counsel families, assist in medical procedures, and navigate hospital systems to ensure holistic care.

The interns were mentored, guided, and trained by an exceptional team of professionals who shared their knowledge, experience, and wisdom. The impactful mentorship they received has not only enriched their academic learning but has also prepared them to serve with greater empathy, skill, and dedication in their future careers.

Special Thanks to Our Mentors and Guides

We sincerely appreciate the unwavering support of our esteemed faculty and mentors, who took time from their demanding schedules to train, guide, and inspire our MSW interns. Your contribution has been invaluable in making their learning experience truly meaningful and memorable.
