It is with immense pride that we celebrate the achievements of Dr. Satish Thomas, Professor and Head of Ophthalmology at our institution. Dr. Thomas has recently added another feather to his cap by serving as a faculty member for the statewide PG update conference on Neuro-Ophthalmology, organized by the Kerala Society of Ophthalmic Surgeons in Trivandrum.

The conference, attended by 85 postgraduate students, including five from our own institution, showcased the latest advancements and insights in the field of Neuro-Ophthalmology. Dr. Thomas's presence as a faculty member underscores his expertise and contributions to this specialized area of ophthalmology.

Neuro-Ophthalmology, a fascinating intersection of neurology and ophthalmology, deals with complex conditions affecting the visual system and the intricate relationship between the eyes and the brain.
