As we approach the Annual Research Day Programme, we request all departments to submit their in-house research projects under different categories. These include:


1. Published Studies: Studies that have been successfully published in reputable journals.


2. Ongoing Studies/Completed but Not Published: Ongoing projects or completed ones awaiting publication.


3. Future Research Ideas: Novel research proposals that hold promise for addressing pressing medical challenges.


4. Covid-19 Completed Projects: Studies focusing on Covid-19 that have been successfully concluded.


5. Student Research Projects: Projects undertaken by students under your esteemed guidance.


Outstanding Cash Prizes Await:

Best Researcher Award Criteria:

The Best Researcher Award for the years 2020-2023 will be based on the following criteria:


1. Cumulative Score of Prizes: The total number of prizes achieved by the researcher across all study categories will be taken into account.


2. Approved ICMR-STS Student Research Projects: Recognition for guiding and mentoring ICMR-STS student research projects.


3. Awardee of Extramural Projects: Awardees of prestigious extramural projects such as ICMR, DST, DBT, or foreign funding will be given special consideration.


4. Number of Published Studies: Researchers with a substantial number of published studies will receive additional recognition.


5. Publications in Indexed Journals: Special attention will be given to publications in PubMed/Scopus indexed journals, reflecting the researcher's impact in the scientific community.


Deadline and Submission Details:

To participate in the Research Day Programme and be considered for the Best Researcher Award, kindly submit your applications to deanresearch@bcmch.org no later than tomorrow, 20th of July 2023.

Program Details: The National Training Program is scheduled for Friday, the 3rd of May, commencing at 7 PM. The program will feature distinguished speakers who are experts in the field of pharmacovigilance, including Dr. Shwetha Reba Mathews and Dr. Suman Varghese Sam. Dr. Mathews, who was recently appointed as one of the National Pharmacovigilance trainers, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the event.
