Successful Central Line Placement & Inauguration of New Ultrasound Machine! πŸ™ŒπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™

We are thrilled to share a significant milestone at Believers Poyanil Hospital, Kozhencherry—a testament to our growing capabilities in advanced patient care.

A Challenging Case, A Remarkable Achievement

Earlier today, our team encountered a patient with severe anasarca and hypoalbuminemia, where peripheral venous access was nearly impossible. In response, we made the critical decision to proceed with central line placement.

However, this procedure posed unique challenges:
πŸ”Ή Central catheter sets are not routinely used at Poyanil.
πŸ”Ή The last central line placement was performed several years ago.
πŸ”Ή A catheter set had to be arranged from an external source.

Despite these hurdles, our team rose to the occasion, utilizing the newly acquired portable ultrasound machine to ensure precision and safety.

πŸ”¬ Dr. Sanu successfully performed the central line placement, marking a historic moment for our hospital.
πŸ’™ Dr. Angel, the primary consultant, expressed her sincere gratitude for the support provided.

A Landmark Day for Poyanil Hospital

πŸŽ‰ This milestone marks two major firsts:
The first central line placement in years at Poyanil.
The inaugural use of the new ultrasound machine for procedural guidance.

This success highlights the progressive advancements at our facility, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in patient care.

Special Acknowledgments

πŸ™Œ Dr. Vishnu Dev, Senior MEM Resident – Provided expert guidance, training, and support throughout the procedure.
πŸ™Œ Dr. Shammy Douglas Lambert, Chief of Operations, Believers Poyanil Centre – For his unwavering leadership and dedication.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ A huge congratulations to our entire team for this outstanding achievement! 🎊

🌟 With every challenge, we grow stronger, ensuring the best care for our patients. πŸ’™
