Kerala CAN - Alappuzha Edition: A Step Forward in Cancer Awareness and Care

The Kerala CAN campaign, a powerful initiative by Manorama News, continues to make a profound impact in the fight against cancer. In its ninth edition, the campaign reached Alappuzha, where a free cancer screening camp was organized to promote early detection and provide medical support to those in need.

A Moment of Hope and Support

The event was inaugurated by renowned poet and lyricist Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma, who highlighted the importance of emotional and community support for individuals battling cancer. He commended the Kerala CAN initiative for its relentless efforts since 2016 in raising awareness, facilitating screenings, and providing treatment assistance.

A Message of Positivity from Actor Ramesh Pisharody

Popular actor Ramesh Pisharody, the face of this year's Kerala CAN campaign, emphasized that cancer should be treated like any other illness—one that can be managed and overcome with the right medical care and a strong mindset. His words reinforced the message of hope and determination that Kerala CAN seeks to spread.

The Alappuzha edition of the campaign was conducted in partnership with Believers Hospital, ensuring that eligible cancer patients received the necessary treatment support.

Additionally, the campaign received valuable support from:
