The second edition of BCMCH NeuroBytes was a remarkable event dedicated to Epilepsy, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to neurological education and patient care.

Building on the grand success of NeuroBytes-1, which focused on the Clinical Approach to Headache, this Continuing Medical Education (CME) program delivered invaluable knowledge through expert talks and discussions.

1️⃣ Inauguration of the Epilepsy Clinic

A significant milestone of NeuroBytes-2 was the inauguration of the Epilepsy Clinic at BCMCH, which will now be overseen by Dr. Harikrishnan every Wednesday. This initiative aims to provide specialized care for epilepsy patients, ensuring better diagnosis, management, and treatment outcomes.

2️⃣ Program Flow & Key Addresses

📌 The session began with a solemn prayer led by Rev. Fr. Thomas Varghese, setting a reflective tone for the day.

📌 Dr. Archana M. delivered the warm welcome address, greeting esteemed guests, faculty, and attendees.

📌 The Presidential Address was given by Dr. John Valliattu, Acting Director, who highlighted the importance of advancing epilepsy care and research in clinical practice.

📌 Dr. Geomcy George and Ms. Mini Sarah Thomas delivered felicitation addresses, emphasizing the role of collaborative efforts in neurological advancements.

📌 The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Joban John, who expressed gratitude to all participants, speakers, and organizers for their contributions in making NeuroBytes-2 a successful and impactful learning experience.
