BCMCH Hosts First International Compassionate Leadership Fellowship in Partnership with University of Edinburgh



We are proud and honored to share that Believers Church Medical College Hospital (BCMCH) had the privilege of hosting the first-ever International Compassionate Leadership Fellowship in collaboration with some of the world’s most esteemed institutions:

🔹 University of Edinburgh – Global Health Academy
🔹 Cairdeas International Palliative Care Trust
🔹 Indian Association of Palliative Care

A Year-Long Journey of Transformational Leadership

This pioneering fellowship program, spanning from February 2024 to February 2025, was designed to cultivate compassionate leadership in healthcare, with a special focus on palliative care, patient-centered services, and global health.

The final contact session was successfully concluded on February 15, 2025, marking a momentous milestone in the journey of developing empathetic, value-driven healthcare leaders.

 A Story of Hope: A Journey Towards Healing for a Brave Little Boy This is the story of a 2-year-old boy , the child of a North Indian missionary family working in the Vikaspuri area of Delhi . He was brought to Believers Church Medical College Hospital (BCMCH) with a heartbreaking history: for the past three months, this little one had been unable to move his lower limbs. His family, driven by hope and desperation, sought answers at some of the best medical colleges in the country.
