Celebrating Exceptional Care at Believers Church Medical College Hospital

Dr. Sujith Philip, Laparoscopic Surgeon, Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Tiruvalla

I had not known Dr. Sujith Philip before. It was in the second week of May that I came to know him, through my surgery.

As I had indicated earlier, I needed to undergo an essential cholecystectomy along with surgery for three side hernias.

Initially, I sought out a laparoscopic surgeon through Google and consulted a specialist in Ernakulam. The surgery date was decided.

However, a week before the scheduled date, I developed a severe cough along with persistent rains. If I had proceeded with the surgery in Ernakulam, my only support would have been my life partner.

During this time of distress, my affectionate brother who is currently residing in the United States introduced me to a surgeon at Believers Hospital.

We promptly visited the hospital and met Dr. Sujith Philip, Senior Laparoscopic Surgeon. After discussing the details thoroughly, we were convinced.

From the first meeting and interaction, there was something special about him.

Calm, gentle, and friendly towards patients, I understood him immediately. We visited him after inquiring with many others, all of whom spoke very highly of him.

Two senior doctors at the hospital also testified about him, saying he was a good spiritual person interested in prayer and God's word.

Thus, we decided to proceed with the surgery there.

On May 23, 2024, I was admitted and on May 24, 2024, both surgeries were successfully performed.

My gallbladder was infected, but with complete responsibility, taking his time, he skillfully performed my surgeries. He honored and cared for me as a true servant of the Gospel from beginning to end.

All pre- and post-surgery services were carried out without any stress. The nursing care was excellent, with an exceptional team of doctors!

In fact, when such a skilled laparoscopic surgeon like Dr. Sujith Philip is placed by God so close to me at Believers Hospital, I believe it was heaven's guidance that directed me here instead of to Ernakulam.

The medium of this was my dear friend K.A. Babu and two loving doctors who care for me.

Everything culminated to the glory of God.

The doctor himself suggested that I stay an additional day in the hospital until the pain subsided, instead of discharging me immediately.

It is with great joy that I publicly commend Dr. Sujith Philip, who is not only an expert in laparoscopic surgery but also proficient in associated care, a devout person, and extremely patient-friendly.

I can confidently say that the hospital established by Dr. K. P. Yohannan for the benefit of the community maintains the standards of an American hospital in every aspect.

May the God of heaven keep Dr. Sujith Philip with long life, protecting him, and may his services continue to be beneficial to thousands and to the glory of God.

With love,
In Christ's service,
E. S. Thomas (Titus)
