On 21st July 2023, the Amphitheater at Believers Church Medical College Hospital was filled with excitement and anticipation as the ECLAT:2023 Extempore Speech competition took place. This highly anticipated event showcased the remarkable oratory skills of participants, who impressed the audience with their ability to deliver impromptu speeches on various topics.

The competition was divided into two categories - Malayalam and English, and participants from different teams put forth their best foot forward to deliver persuasive and engaging speeches.

The winners of the ECLAT:2023 Extempore Speech competition are as follows:

Malayalam Category: 1st Place - Dr. Layana (Yellow Team): Dr. Layana's captivating speech and eloquent delivery earned her the top spot in the Malayalam category among the Yellow team participants.

2nd Place - Megha (Blue Team): Megha's articulate expressions and confident presentation secured her the second position in the competition among the Blue team participants.

3rd Place - Ancy (Green Team): Ancy's impressive command over the language and thoughtful content earned her the third position among the Green team participants in the Malayalam category.

English Category: 1st Place - Dr. Philip Finny (Red Team): Dr. Philip Finny's compelling and well-structured speech earned him the top position in the English category among the Red team participants.

2nd Place - Dr. Sumitha (Green Team): Dr. Sumitha's articulate and persuasive speech secured her the second position in the competition among the Green team participants.

2nd Place - Dr. Jacob Jesurun (Yellow Team): Dr. Jacob Jesurun's confident and eloquent delivery impressed the judges, earning him the joint second position in the English category among the Yellow team participants.

3rd Place - Dr. Chepsy (Blue Team): Dr. Chepsy's expressive and engaging speech earned her the third position among the Blue team participants in the English category.
