 A Story of Hope: A Journey Towards Healing for a Brave Little Boy This is the story of a 2-year-old boy , the child of a North Indian missionary family working in the Vikaspuri area of Delhi . He was brought to Believers Church Medical College Hospital (BCMCH) with a heartbreaking history: for the past three months, this little one had been unable to move his lower limbs. His family, driven by hope and desperation, sought answers at some of the best medical colleges in the country. However, despite their extensive efforts, they were left without the clarity and direction they desperately needed. Initially, Dr. Abel brought this child to Dr. Jijo’s OPD with a preliminary diagnosis of scurvy from Kalavati, but this diagnosis didn’t fit the clinical picture. After a thorough multi-disciplinary consultation involving Orthopedics , Hematology , and other departments, the child was admitted to the Pediatric ward.
